in this part of the book the author is going to visit a country famous for the richness that characterized it.this country is well known as qatar, which is situated in the middle orient, near Kuwait, and is a monarchy, controlled by the family Al Thani.here families are very important, and they're well known as tribes, that consist in many families that consist in clans.so the qatari autoctone are not so many, the most people living in qatar are foreign, coming from far east countries like nepal, philippines,India, but they caannot have a qatari passport. qataris have private house for free,no taxes, money, they have everything they wants they also have a University to make them guys or girls studying when they're young, instead of going abroad to do it. first eric went to sleep in a 5 stars hotel, with all comforts but he realize that is not what he wants because it seems to stay in a grave, with air condition, that in qatar is the first need, for the hot weather,up to 50degrees. after making some interview to his american friend that work in qatar he realize that is very difficult to find a qatar citizen, and he decide to find one. with his american friend he see many things very unusual, like the kind of driving of his friend, that was something crazy, but in qatar is queit normal, and it is one oof the first arabic country that permit to drive to women.so he obtain a coffee meeting with a journalist of al jazeera, that is in qatar, and he find the chance to talk with 4 real qataris.when he ask them if theyre happy,it seems to talk about a tabu, but after few minutes he received many answer, like happiness is a religion fact, and it must be musulman to know it.this answer comes maybe for the difficulties that this people had until 1980 the day of their upgrowing, till that day they were a country of nomades, that were living in the desert, and everybody knows how hard is living in it,and allah was the only way to survive to this situation. the only thing that the author understand is that everybody here live in the comfort, because with petrol and gas they have what they want, and they don't have to fight for it,and this make their life easier.but eric wants to try another point of view and make an interview to a woman well known in qatar.he ask her about her happiness, and obviously she answer that she's very happy, becasue she travel a lot,she has the best hotels when she is abroad, she has all the comfort and luxury ,but propably this is not the real happiness.another guest of the book of bliss is abdulaziz, which is the first that is critical with qatari way of thinking and way of life. he think that familie are the first problem, because you are not free to do what you want, for example get married with a foreign woman, and if you want it,you have to fight against the tribe, and this is not a good thing to do.then if somebody is rich has to mantein his dignity,an everytime he need more and more money. another problem is the culture that for him is not possible to buy,and it is what the al thani is doing, but this is not part of the history of qatar, this is only a collection of his likes.maybe a nice and expensive pen is the only way to be happy, but also this doesn't make happy the author that finnally lose it somewhere in the world is an Arab emirate in the Middle East, occupying the small Qatar Peninsula on the northeasterly coast of the much larger Arabian Peninsula. Qatar is an oil- and gas-rich nation, with the third largest gas reserves[8] and the second highest GDP per capita in the world.[9] An absolute monarchy, Qatar has been ruled by the al-Thani family since the mid-1800s and has since transformed itself from a poor British protectorate noted mainly for pearling into an independent state with significant oil and natural gas revenues. During the late 1980s and early 1990s, the Qatari economy was crippled by a continuous siphoning off of petroleum revenues by the Emir,Qatar has an emirate government type based on Islamic and civil law codes, discretionary system of law controlled by the Amir, although civil codes are being implemented. Islamic law dominates family and personal matters. Oil and gas have made Qatar the second highest per-capita income country. Before the discovery of oil, the economy of the Qatari region focused on fishing and pearl hunting. Now the country has a high standard of living, with many social services offered to its citizens and all the amenities of any modern state.Islam is the predominant religion, as Muslims constitute 77.5% of the population. The majority of non-citizens are from South and Southeast Asian and Arab countries working on temporary employment contracts, accompanied by family members in some cases.the country has a population of approximately 1 million people, whom approximately 350,000 were believed to be citizens. 1-In the 5th chapter Eric, the author,is gonna fly from Miami to Iceland directly,in the heart of winter time, where as everybody knows it's always night, except few hours that it seems to see a little piece of light. In his opinion it's very difficult at the beginning to find himself,in the obscurity of the day, pricipally in the morning when usually the sun is rising ,but after talking with people, everybody tell him to welcome the darkness and not to fight it...for Eric it's very difficult to find happinness in this sort of darkness, because everybody associate bliss with sun and light, and warm which is the opposite of icelnd that in winter is very cold, but this help the people to be friendly with each other,to help themselves in a sort of a big community as Iceland is..it's incredible how little the world is in Iceland, becuase everybody has a parental touch with other, like a big family, this cause by the little dimensions of the country that count 300000-400000 citizens. He realize that in order to survive in Iceland you have to drink a lot of alcohol...this doesn't mean you have to be an alcoholized, because they don't tolerate this,it means that in the week end it's possible to kill himself with a lot of beer or super alcoholic, till lay down on the floor, but during the week, everybody has to purify himself from alcohol. This is why outside in the coldness is everything so hard and heavy but become sweet just when going inside a bar or a pub, where lights shows the joy of life and the happiness of this great people. The language is something impossible to learn, but they love their language as they love their words: everybody in Iceland is an artist,a musician, everybody write poems, also electrician, and this means how smart they are, cause they also speak perfect english, differently from other contries in europe. The language is creative in Iceland, and it's possible to see just when translating words from english for example.the best poet of the Iceland's history was a Norse ,and he's very famous and known for his poetry. This is for the author maybe a reason why they're happy, cuase they find bliss in the poetry.Nobody here has the fear to fail in life or in carreer or in music, they always try everything and if they have bad results, nevermind, they still happy and they start with a new project, till the find maybe the right one. In this way they know a lot of things and they can do many things too,and this is better in order to envelope their skills. 2-Iceland is a European island country located in the North Atlantic Ocean. It is the second largest island after great britain in Europe and has a population of 320000 citizens. The capital and largest city is Reykjavík, in which are resident the two-thirds of the national population. Iceland is volcanically and geologically active on a large scale. The interior consists of sand fields, mountains and glaciers, while many glacial rivers flow to the sea through the lowlands. There are also many geysers in Iceland which erupts every 5–10 minutes, and 15-20 meters high. With the widespread availability of geothermal power, and the harnessing of many rivers and waterfalls for hydroelectricity, most residents have inexpensive hot water and home heating. Very famous in Iceland is the Icelandic horse that still play a large part in Icelandic life, despite increasing mechanization and road improvements that diminish the necessity for the breed's use.Icelandic culture is based on the nation's Norse heritage and its status as a developed and technologically advanced society. Most Icelanders are descendants of Norse and enjoy freedom of religion under the constitution, though the National Church of Iceland, which is the state church. The official written and spoken language is Icelandic, a North Germanic language descended from Old Norse. It has changed less from Old Norse and has preserved more verb and noun inflection, and has to a considerable extent developed new vocabulary based on native roots rather than borrowings from other languages. English is widely spoken as a secondary language.Studying both languages is a mandatory part of the compulsory school curriculum. Icelandic literature is popular, in particular the sagas and eddas which were written during the High and Late Middle Ages, like Njáls saga and Grśnlendinga saga. Most of Iceland's cuisine is based on fish, lamb, and dairy products. Ţorramatur is a selection of traditional cuisine consisting of many dishes, and is usually consumed around the month of Ţorri. Traditional dishes also include skyr, cured ram scrota, cured shark, singed sheep heads, and black pudding.Hákarl has a very particular ammonia-rich smell and fishy taste,it is an acquired taste and many Icelanders never eat it. Hákarl is served as part of a Ţorramatur and is available in Icelandic stores all year round and is eaten in all seasons. 1-Moldavia is one of the country that represent the opposite of the idea of bliss:it is located in the esatern europe and it is an indipendent nation since more or less fifteen years. they are a mix of romanian and russian, but they still don't know what they are,but for sure they don't feel moldavian. when he arrive in Moldavia he soon find in the face of the people a true state of unhappiness: women were well dressed, but extremely hot for his taste, mens weren't so many, cause a lot of them, work and live abroad, to gain some money cause in Moldavia, life is very difficult thanks to its porness. So when he gets outside from the airport he meet Natasha outside that was waiting for him, which is a girl meet on internet in a sort of moldavian website, that gives to foreign people a place to sleep. so after a while they arrive at Natasha's granny home, which consist in an apartment of a condominium in russian style, dirty and grey.Lula, the granny, doesn't speak english and the only thing she can say is:feevty feevty. after a very little talk with Luba,Eric, call Vitalie,a moldavian blogger, which is gonna meet the day after,so he goes to take a walk outside, where he find desolation and frustration all around him. When Eric meet Vitalie,he ask him as soon as possible why people here is so unhappy, and the answwer his about the Transinistry, that is a separatist republic managed by russian. This is not the only reason why they're so unhappy, also the politic is a disaster in Moldavia, where the president was a bakery and the first minister a confectioner. Also the quality of service is around zero, where nobody cares about the client, which is seen as a problem.Moldavian has fear to trust in something or someone and this is comprehensive from a population that was abandoned by everybody in its history. In this case is very difficult to establish a democracy, where people doesn't trust in nothing and are no tollerant.the only thing that is good in Moldavia is fruit and vegetables, which are very fresh and tasty. women in Moldavia are maybe the happiest, cause they can run away, getting married with foreign people, like marisha did. In Moldavia everybody say that is not their problem, whatever something happened, they're so unhappy and envy that they find satisfaction in the others fail, like a neighbour,a friend, and the envy is the worst friend of bliss. So at this moment he decide to get in the country, away from chisinau,to see if there people is happy, and he arrive in the city of cahul.there he meet the american special corps of happiness and he starts to interview them, but everybody, mark,Joanna tell him the same thing he heard before. Joanna, that work in Moldavia since 2 years,is very angry with this people, cause she say that they do nothing to change their situation, cause this is not hteir problem also if it is, but she's happy cause there she find herself useful, differently form when she worked in New York.So at the end he realized how difficult is to live in Moldavia and he think this is the first time that he wanna run away from a place, and forget it forever, that is what is going to do. Moldavia is a country unhappy, where people think that their problem are not theirs, where porness is an excuse for their unhappiness, and where the culture is not represented by friendship and by the value of trustworthy, but wickedness and deceit. 2-the Republic of Moldova is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe, located between Romania to the west and Ukraine to the east side. About a quarter of the population lives off of less than US $2 a day.Moldova enjoys a favorable climate and good farmland but has no major mineral deposits. As a result, the economy depends heavily on agriculture, featuring fruits, vegetables, wine, and tobacco. Moldova's proximity to the Black Sea gives it a mild and sunny climate. The fertile soil supports wheat, corn, barley, sugar beet, and soybeans. Beef and dairy cattle are raised, and beekeeping is widespread. Moldova's best-known product comes from its extensive and well-developed vineyards concentrated in the central and southern regions. In addition to world-class wine, Moldova produces liqueurs and sparkling wine. Wine tours are offered to tourists in Chisinau and other towns in the countryside. Moldova established a visa-free regime in the last years, for the US, and EU countries, which should facilitate more trips by foreign tourists but Hotels still charge high prices, while the quality of service on average is quite low. The state language of Moldova is Moldovan/Romanian. Russian is also widely spoken in the country, both as a first and second languagr while Ukrainian and Gagauz are recognized minority languages, with official status in areas with high concentration of speaker populations. The major religion is represented by The Moldovan Orthodox Church, autonomous and subordinated to the Russian Orthodox Church, and represent more than 90% of the population. Moldovan cuisine is a style of cooking derived from Moldovan people and consists mainly of traditional European foods, such as beef, pork, potatoes, cabbage, and a variety of cereals.Perhaps the best known Moldovan dish is a well-known Romanian dish, mamaliga, which is a cornmeal mash or porridge, served as an accompaniment to stews and meat dishes or garnished with cottage cheese. 1-In this chapter the author is gonna find himself in the country of Thailand. Here he meet a man name
